CHILDREN from Calmore Infant School held a daffodil-themed day that raised almost £200 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Dressed in green and yellow, the pupils staged a concert for parents and asked for donations.
Mums and dads then joined their children in class and helped them decorate daffodil pots, which the youngsters took home.
Head teacher Nicola Cowcher said the event reflected the school’s “caring for others” theme.
She added: “Most people have been touched by cancer at some stage in their lives. We felt this was one way parents could get involved and help make a difference.”
