AN investigation is underway after a body was discovered at a disused Hampshire quarry.
The man's body was found by a member of the public at Candy's Pit, a former chalk quarry at Portsdown Hill, shortly before 3pm today.
Officers attended the scene and are now investigating.
A Hampshire Police spokesman said: 'Officers attended the scene and the body of a man was found. The circumstances surrounding this death are currently being investigated.'
