THE wheels are truly in motion for one of Hampshire’s premier jobs events.

It is a case of all aboard as we take to the streets to spread the word of the Daily Echo’s Jobs Fair, in association with Priory Education Services.

Hundreds of job-seekers are expected to flock to Southampton Novotel next Thursday where they will be able to speak face–to-face with some of the county’s top employers.

We are promoting the event by splashing our branding on a fleet of buses operating in the city.

The details will be plastered on 20 First buses in the lead-up to the event.

We are inviting eagle-eyed city folk who spot the vehicles on their travels to photograph the bus, if safe to do so, and email it to the Daily Echo with the chance to win a shopping voucher worth £50.

Solent NHS Trust, Sunrise Senior Living, Eastleigh College and Domino’s Pizza are just some of the big names joining us at the fair.

A packed programme of seminars will run throughout the day.

Daily Echo Editor-in-Chief Ian Murray will give a talk on journalism while the National Careers Service is running a series of careers sessions.

Daily Echo recruitment manager Natalie Sprake said: “There is something for everyone this year and we are giving people the chance to bypass the usual recruitment process and find out what businesses are looking for.

“We have a variety of businesses from sectors like care, education, engineering and food and people can also get advice and tips on interviews and CVs to produce more focused and professional applications and highlight their best qualities.”

A Priory spokesman said: “We feel that this is an excellent opportunity for local candidates and businesses to get together under one roof and come out with positive outcomes.”

The fair runs from 10am-3pm on Thursday, March 27.

Anyone who submits a photo by 10am next Wednesday will be entered into a prize draw to win a £50 shopping voucher to be drawn at Jobs Fair. Email your entry to jobsfair@dailyecho.co.uk along with your name and contact daytime telephone number.

Limited stand space is still available.
