A TWO-year-old girl suffered serious injuries in a collision with a car in Hampshire today.
The youngster was airlifted to hospital after she was hit by a blue Peugeot 206 at 10.20am.
She was taken by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital for treatment. Her next of kin are aware.
The driver of the car was not injured and there have been no arrests following the incident in Belle Vue Road, Aldershot.
The road was closed for four hours following the collision to allow officers to carry out an investigation at the scene.
The girl is from Aldershot.
Any witnesses should contact Whitchurch roads policing unit on 101 quoting Operation Barfleur.
