RUSH hour traffic was brought to a halt this evening after a lorry overturned at a busy industrial estate.

The incident happened on the roundabout at the Calmore Industrial Estate off Salisbury Road in Totton at 5.20pm.

Police and ambulances were called to the accident but is believed the driver escaped unhurt.

The incident is caused delays in and out of Totton, and the roundabout was shut for around two hours from 6.20pm.

Or perhaps these so called 'professional drivers' need to drive with more care and attention when navigating a 44ton lorry. Also these containers are sealed so the drivers cannot check the load and therefore should bear this in mind when negotiating around a corner or a roundabout.

I have been cut up by trucks in that exact same location many a time. Trucks in the left hand lane, instead of going round the roundabout tend to wander over into the right hand lane, forcing cars to either brake suddenly or mount the kerb.
