Hampshire Fire and Rescue dealt with a fire in an airing cupboard
FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze in an airing cupboard this evening.
Appliances from St Mary’s and Redbridge fire stations attended a property in Burgess Road, Southampton, at around 6.30pm.
But they were able to contain the fire using a hose reel and it was extinguished by around 7.20pm without spreading to the rest of the property.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
