River levels are receding, but the Environment Agency says some Hampshire communities remain at risk of flooding.

A spokesman said: “If we receive significantly above average rainfall with several episodes of high daily rainfall totals then flooding will return to those areas which are currently seeing an improvement.”

They are: King’s Somborne, Little Somborne, Pitton, West Tytherley, Broughton, Nether Wallop, The Candovers, Old Al-resford, Bishops Sutton, Bram-dean, Cheriton, Hensting, Twy-ford, Headbourne Worthy, Little-ton, Hursley, Finchdean, Dean Lane End and Denmead.
