It's just sickening isn't it, just one murder trial after another at the moment.

Yes perhaps we should have a referendum on the death penalty as well as Europe

Countries with the death penalty have murder rates just as high as those without, proving it to be entirely ineffective. There's also the added risk of executing an innocent before compelling evidence to support their case comes to light.

That end of eastleigh is not as safe as the mayor would have you believe! i lived there for 10 years and the last 3 there was nothing but trouble, it was only a matter of time before someone was killed, RIP

Sorry got to disagree with your comment, a fool recently punched a pedestrian for complaining about a bike rider on the pavement, the fool killed the man and the judge gave him four and a half years, he will be out in a little over 2.

It's much better than other areas. You may be rolled up in cotton wall if you think Eastleigh is bad

Manslaughter - that's ok then. Sorry, the man is still dead and 2 years is not enough for taking a life.

Rather unfortunate that I went to play the video and was met by an M&M's advert which featured a hostage situation in a convenience store.

Why oh why don't the Echo check these things out and THINK before offending people in this way?

It'd be a joke if someone hadn't sadly died.

Eastleigh is bad, horrible area.
I got attacked there about 4 years ago by 3 idiots when they spotted me taking a p1ss down an alleyway after a night out, all for the sake of a tenner they robbed off me (left with broken nose, broken teeth etc).
