HAMPSHIRE singing sensation Birdy will release her latest single this month.
The 17-year-old from Lymington, whose real name is Jasmine Van Den Bogaerde, has chosen Words As Weapons as her latest single, to be released on April 14 via Atlantic Records.
The song comes from her second album, Fire Within, which was released in September and hit the top ten in the UK chart.
The music video sees the former Priestlands School pupil play a ghost who haunts her ex-boyfriend.
The song has proved to be a hit on YouTube, where it has had more than 130,000 views.
