Man charged with burglary remanded in custody
A SOUTHAMPTON man, charged with more than a dozen burglaries in the city, was remanded in custody.
Gary Pearce, 38, of Prince of Wales Avenue, faced nine charges of entering properties – principally in the Shirley area – where he took cash, jewellery and electrical items and an imitation firearm.
He was also accused of entering four other properties with intent to steal, and one of attempted burglary. Pearce next appears in court on May 30.
