MOTORISTS are facing delays this morning after a crash on a major road.

A collision between two vans at around 7.45am closed two lanes of the M27 towards Southampton near junction 10.

The vehicles have now been moved to the hard shoulder and the lanes are clear but drivers are still facing journey delays of around 10 minutes.

It would be helpful if when you publish these "crash on major road" stories if you put for example "M27" in the headline instead of "Major road". At least then people can know whether or not it may affect their particular journey and decide whether or not to bother clicking on the article.

Agree, irritating. They do that on purpose, just like when everywhere is referred toas "Hampshire road/town" in the headline so you're forced to click in and read further to see where. Up until recently the name/place was in the headline which meant you didn't have to read the story to find out the news.

It raises the DE money through all the adverts there are on the site now, that's the reason...

And it would help if the headline had said 'crash on M27 near Fareham' seeing as that is where junction 10 is
