Rail delays for passengers due to engineering work
COMMUTERS can expect delays today as emergency engineering takes place on a Hampshire railway.
Trains between Southampton Central and Portsmouth Harbour are delayed by up to 20 minutes as engineers carry out repairs on the line at Netley.
Both First Great Western and South West Trains are affected by speed restrictions on the route while some Southern services cancelled between Havant and Southampton Central.
Engineers are repacking ballast which became loose at a track joint.
A spokesman for Network Rail said the work is expected to be completed later this afternoon.
