For all those questioning the use of the air ambulance, the control room will send out what they consider the be the most appropriate transport to allow the best outcome for the patient. I support Hampshire Air Ambulance with a monthly donation, so, as someone who is paying for the vital service, I am more than happy for them to be sent out when it is deemed the appropriate course of action. 'Issacchunt', perhaps you could help financially so that they can become a bottomless pit and can be there for all who need them.
I fully agree I support it monthly, so it can be sent, I would hate for it not to go and a casualty dies that could of been saved, sometimes they go and are stood down, I don't mind that either,

In this case I'm guessing that once they stabilised him the helicopter would of got thine to hospital in moments that could of possibly been the most important moments of his life.

I do hope he recovers quickly."
