A YOUNG dancing star from Hampshire will make a second bid for success on a hit TV talent show.

Kai Widdrington reached the final of ITV's Britain's Got Talent two years ago - and tonight he's set for a second try.

The 18-year-old, from Bassett in Southampton, will appear as part of a new act, dance troupe Kings and Queens, in tonight's audition show.

Former Barton Peveril College student Kai and partner Natalia Jeved reached the finals of Britain's Got Talent in 2012, but were then eliminated.

The duo also saw success in other dancing competitions, winning the World Junior Latin Championships and coming third in the World Ballroom Championship.

But then Kai and Natalia split up so she could focus on her GCSEs.

And now he is set to return to BGT as part of new act Kings and Queens.

They are described on their Twitter profile as a “Latin American super group”, featuring some of the UK and Europe's best dancers.
