Nobody wants roads closed causing inconvenience but doing it for a few hours overnight is obviously the right way to go. I bet it won't be long though before all the rabid Tory supporters to come on an bleat about the Council. Will any of them give credit for this? Let's see!

So much wrong with the road there that I find it hard to believe they could fix it in 3 hours.

It's not road repairs, they're apparently replacing cables for the traffic lights to "modernise" them.
