Villagers are being urged to help a Hampshire school keep its grounds in tip-top condition.

Staff at Bartley Junior School are planning to make a series of improvements to the site on May 7.

A school spokesman said: “We would appreciate any extra help, even if it’s only for an hour. We would also appreciate any donations of topsoil, horse manure and spare vegetable plants.”

Contact the school office on 023 8081 2173.
