University study day to focus on world of cinema
A STUDY day at the University of Southampton will explore the world of cinema.
The Viewing the Past/Framing the Future: History, Heritage and the Cinema event will take place at the university’s Avenue Campus on May 31.
From 10am to 4pm experts will give a series of short talks on the history of the silver screen and its impact on the world.
Taking part costs between £11 and £31, and places can be booked by visiting www.store.southampton.ac.uk
