THICK fog is causing travel chaos across Hampshire this morning.

The Met Office issued a yellow warning for the fog with visibility below 100m in places, sparking problems for airports, ferries and the docks as well as motorists.

There are delays on ferry services to and from the Isle of Wight, with Red Funnel, Red Jet, and Hovertravel all experiencing delays.

While the Wightlink service between Lymington and Yarmouth has suspended until the fog eases.

On the roads drivers are being urged to use headlights and increase stopping distances.
