Road closed after drain collapse
A HAMPSHIRE road was closed yesterday after a hole opened up near a busy roundabout.
Quay Street in Fareham town centre was closed from the A32 roundabout towards the police station.
A Fareham Borough Council spokesman said the 18in hole was caused by a collapsed drain.
Hampshire County Council is aware of the problem and is currently looking at it.
