Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after scrash
A MOTORCYCLIST has been airlifted to hospital after colliding with a car.
The incident involved a Yamaha motorcycle and a blue Hyundai in Longfield Avenue, Fareham, at around 7.44am today.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital with broken bones but the injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The road was closed both ways between Newgate Lane and St Michael's Grove while emergency services attended the scene.
The road was reopened at 9.15am.
