SHE has worked her way up from trainee to partner.
Southampton-based Kym Provan has recently been promoted at law firm Blake Lapthorn.
Listed as a ‘leader in her field’ in Chambers this year, Kym qualified ten years ago.
She trained as a specialist clinical negligence solicitor with Blake Lapthorn and has helped expand and develop the firm.
She blogged about trials and published case studies reg-ularly and raised more than £2,500 for the Southern Spinal Injuries Trust by hiking for 26 miles with a team of solicitors.
Kym is now looking forward to using her wealth of experience to help the firm grow even further.
Stephen Murfitt, a senior partner for the firm, said: “Kym has excellent professi-onal, team management and business development skills. It’s very rewarding to see a former trainee develop their potential with the firm and I would like to congratulate Kym on her well-deserved promotion.
