Lecture on solar activity at Winchester Science Centre
“The Active Sun,” is the title of the next space lecture at Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium on Wednesday, May 14.
Dr Helen Mason, from Cambridge University, will explore what causes solar activity and what we have learned about the sun from space observatories.
The science centre in Morn Hill organises monthly space lectures with expert guest speakers.
