HAMPSHIRE workers are being urged to sign up for an award-winning initiative that helps make offices more environmentally friendly.
Green Office Week, which runs from May 12-16, allows staff to make a pledge to better their working environment.
A huge percentage of the country’s energy consumption is in the workplace.
Research shows that people in Britain are 3.5 times more likely to consider themselves greener at home than at work.
Avery UK, the firm behind Green Office Week, has created a website to guide employees through the week with helpful tips, simple actions and shareable content.
In return, Avery, in partner-ship with the Tree Appeal, will plant up to 100 trees. To make your pledge for Green Office Week, go to greenofficeweek.eu.
