A GREEN-fingered duo from Hampshire are still in with a chance of winning a gardening competition on national television.
Eleanor Waterhouse and Kate Bennett impressed judges once again on The Big Allotment Challenge, making it through to the fifth week of the competition.
The 63-year-olds from Winchester won one of the four weekly competitions with their aubergines and avoided being evicted from their on-screen allotment.
Watched by millions, they are one of just five teams left in the show, billed as gardening’s equivalent of The Great British Bake Off.
They will go head to head with other budding gardeners again next Tuesday from 8pm on BBC Two.
