Six vehicle crash brings major route to a halt
DRIVERS on their way into Southampton this evening faced delays following a three vehicle crash on a main route.
The inbound Redbridge Causeway near Totton was blocked when a blue VW Golf, blue Ford Fiesta and green Vauxhall Astra were in collision at 5.33pm.
One of the drivers suffered minor injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital by ambulance.
The collision caused major traffic jams as far as the Rushington Roundabout.
The road reopened soon after 7pm.
