Everyone loves a wedding.
So a spectacular showcase offering almost everything a bride and groom could want was a sight to behold.
More than 100 people flocked to Southampton’s first ever Asian Wedding Show at the city’s Grand Harbour Hotel last night.
Bollywood dancers, dholi drummers and a stylish sari catwalk were among the exotic entertainment.
Some of the finest wedding suppliers, caterers, entertainers and organisers from across Hampshire and the south set up stalls.
Everything from towering wedding cakes and flower arrangements to henna tattoos, stretch limos, Rolls-Royces and a tuk tuk decorated with mini elephants was on show.
Happy couples-to-be could also plan their big day with the hotel’s top wedding co-ordinators.
Mark Waring (above centre), of Hampshire Chocolate Fountains, organised the event, with Angel Cakes Hampshire, Mrs Bouquet Weddings and premier Asian caterer Sanjha Catering.
Exhibitors included Asian clothing store Kimis, Elegance Bridal Coiffure and WOW Cupcakes.
