SOUTHAMPTON University’s Students Union (SUSU) is the latest organisation to support a campaign to better understand mental health problems.
SUSU will tomorrow sign a Time to Change pledge – a programme run by the charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness.
SUSU VP Welfare Beckie Thomas said: “I’m proud to be signing this pledge on behalf of SUSU, agreeing to work in partnership with the university to encourage conversations about mental health, which will help us to give every student the experience they deserve during their time with us.”
Time to Change was set up to create a positive shift in public attitudes towards mental health problems.
Craft meeting A group for craft enthusiasts meets at Fareham Library.
The venue will be hosting the event from 4pm-6pm today to exchange tips, learn new techniques and make friends.
Participants of all ages and abilities should take their latest project.
It is free to attend.
