THESE cute homeless kittens are hoping they are the paw-fect excuse for a party.

The Blue Cross in Southampton is urging residents to get involved in their Paws for Tea party by holding their own cake and cuppa events with friends and family to raise money for needy pets on Friday.

Daily Echo:

Among those looking for new homes are these kittens nearly causing a teatime cat-astrophe - Assam, Oolong and Darjeeling - all named after types of tea.

The nine-week-old kittens were brought in to the centre, in Bubb Lane, West End about six weeks ago as an unwanted litter that their owner was unable to keep.

Last year, the Blue Cross found new homes for more than 8,000 pets and treated more than 30,000 sick animals, but relies on public funding.
