Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing 14-year-old Hampshire girl.

Keeley Mayes was last seen by her family when she left her home address on Prospect Lane Leigh Park at 6pm on Tuesday.

Keeley said she was staying at a friend's house for the night but this arrangement had not been made.

There have been possible sightings of Keeley at Purbrook Heath on Wednesday and Havant train station on Friday.

It is also possible that Keeley may be in the Surrey or London area with an old school friend.

Keeley is described as:

  • White
  • Slim build
  • Pale complexion
  • Long blonde hair

When last seen she was wearing black leggings, a black jacket and cream Nike high top trainers.

She also had a black handbag which is big enough to fit an A4 folder in.

PC Amy Bianchini from Waterlooville police station said: "We would ask members of the public to keep an eye out and to contact police if you think you have spotted her.

"I would urge any friends with knowledge of her whereabouts to get in touch as her family are very worried and want her home safe and well.

"Keeley, if you are reading this please get in touch with us by calling 101 so we know you are safe."

Anyone with any information should contact Waterlooville police station by calling 101.
