TENS of thousands of spectators are expected at the British Motocross Grand Prix to be held near Winchester this weekend.
The event returns to the Matterley Basin circuit for the two-day event, part of the World Motocross Championships, this Saturday and Sunday.
The hot, dry weather means that the circuit will have to be watered to ensure that the bikes can maintain a grip of the track.
Promoter Steve Dixon said he intends to hold a tribute to Bradley Hooper, the 16-year-old MX rider who was killed in a crash at the Down Farm circuit near Winchester on Sunday, May 11.
