A COLDEN Common man faces a jail term after admitting theft and assault charges that put him in breach of a suspended sentence.

Mitchell Mills, 36, admitted four counts of stealing mobile phones, an iPhone and cash from teenagers in a caravan, and one charge of causing actual bodily harm to another.

Southampton Crown Court heard he was now in breach of a 12-month suspended sentence which had been imposed for battery and wounding.

Mills, of Knobs Crook, had bail renewed until June 23 with a warning from Judge Derwin Hope that all options, including custody, would be considered.

The prosecution accepted his plea of not guilty to four charges of robbing the teenagers.
