A FORMER head teacher has been cleared of accusations of sexually assaulting a young girl.
Richard Hilary, who was the head at Chamberlayne Park School for 12 years, was found not guilty of three counts of indecent assault against a 15-year-old girl between 1977 and 1979.
The jury took three hours to come to a unanimous decision.
