Monster truck mayhem as Bigfoot and co roar in for Truckmania at Beaulieu's National Motor Museum

IT was among Hampshire’s biggest bank holiday attractions – in more ways than one.
The National Motor Museum in Beaulieu played host to Truckmania, a two-day event that showcased some of the largest lorries on the road.
Thousands of people flocked to the attraction to view the huge collection of metal monsters on show.
Some of the colourful American-style vehicles were decorated with images from famous Hollywood movies and the Battle of Britain.
Highlights of the event included a twice-daily appearance by Bigfoot, a huge truck that delighted the crowd by repeatedly driving over a row of six cars destined for the scrapyard.
The eye-catching vehicle completed a circuit of the field before bouncing along the top of the cars as spectators cheered.
Bigfoot made several runs, going higher each time and gradually reducing the vehicles to a fraction of their former size.
Truckmania also featured a tug-of-war contest in which teams tested their strength by attempting to pull one of the giant lorries across the main arena.
Commercial entries were joined by military lorries, and special guests included TV star Mark Dixon, from the Channel 5 show Eddie Stobart: Trucks & Trailers.
