POLICE are hunting thieves who stole a car which was later found overturned.

The vehicle was taken after thieves broke into a home on Station Road, in Gosport and took the keys to the white Dacia Duster.

It was driven a short distance, but was found having overturned on nearby Grove Road.

Nobody was found in the car and police said it did not appear as though anyone had been injured.

However, four other vehicles had been damaged in the collision.

Police would like to hear from witnesses who were in the area at the time on either road at the time of the incident, which happened in the early hours of Tuesday , or from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area.
