A HAMPSHIRE town’s skate park is set for a £120,000 refurbishment.
Civic chiefs in Fareham have voted to start work at the Park Lane Recreation Ground.
The Fareham Skate Park Project has been handed the contract for the work, which as well as building a new concrete skate park will include decommissioning the old facility.
It is part of a wider project to improve the recreation ground over the next five years that will also include relocating and refurbishing the children’s play area and creating a new all-weather multi-sports facility.
