A SOUTHAMPTON truck dealership continued a fruitful relationship with a Hampshire haulage company by supplying its 75th truck to the firm.
Redbridge dealership Adams Morey handed over a new DAF truck for Eastleigh company Harris Transport personalising it in the name of the co-founding director, Pauline.
The other co-founder’s initials, Colin Leslie Harris, who died in 2008, were also placed on the registration plate as a tribute to him.
Colin’s son George who inherited the business along with his brother Derek, said: “We are delighted to have received this truck. For as long as I can remember Adams Morey used to deal with my father back in the 1970s. It’s been a long professional relationship.”
Managing director of Adams Morey, Mike Fennell, said: “Adams Morey and Harris Transport have been business partners since 1976 so to achieve the supply of this vehicle makes it very special.”
