England fan Phil Voller has got into the World Cup spirit by covering his car in dozens of flags – and a picture of Bobby Moore lifting the trophy.

The 53-year-old spent four hours printing and applying the stickers to his blue Toyota Hilux ahead of the tournament's first match.

The vehicle features 60 flags, featuring all 32 teams playing in Brazil, and a speech bubble saying: “Come on England”.

Mr Voller, from Whiteley, near Fareham, said: “I’m doing my bit to show my support for England.

“I’m a huge football fan and wanted to get into the World Cup spirit before it kicks off later this week.

“A lot of fans are turning their heads to take a look, and I’ve had a lot of positive comments. It's just a bit of fun.”

The West Ham supporter added: “I fancy England's chances this year.

“If they can get out of their group, which I think they will, then they should have a good run. I'm eternally optimistic.”

Mr Voller, who owns Southampton-based graphics and printing firm Artistic Licence, said the vehicle art would usually cost around £450.

One of the images on his car is the iconic photograph of Bobby Moore lifting the World Cup in 1966 when England last won the tournament.

Their 2014 campaign starts on Saturday evening when they take on Italy at the Arena Amazonia in Manaus.

Mr Voller is most looking forward to seeing Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana take to the field in an England shirt.

The side will also face Uruguay and Costa Rica in their group D matches.
