Police are appealing for information after military medals were stolen from a house in Hartley Wintney.

The burglary occurred between 9am and 5.30pm on Monday, June 9 on West Green Road.

Jewellery was stolen from the address along with the military medals which are of great sentimental value to the victim as they belonged to his father.

The medals, a CBE, OBE and CB were all engraved with Rear Admiral CWH Shepherd.

PC Vicky Brackstone from Aldershot police station said: “I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time of this incident.

“These prestigious medals are absolutely priceless to the victim and I would urge anyone with information about their whereabouts to contact police.”
