A BABY has been born during a 100mph drama on a Hampshire motorway.
Tiffany Ellmore, from Portsmouth, was forced to give birth on the motorway late on Friday night after her dad Colin was stopped by police as he raced her to hospital at 100mph.
When officers pulled them over and discovered Tiffany was already in the late stages of labour, four unmarked police cars surrounded the family car to allow Colin to deliver his granddaughter.
Once baby Lola Mia Rose was safe in Tiffany's arms, police called for an ambulance, which took mother and baby to the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth.
She weighed a health 6lbs 4oz and was discharged home on Saturday.
Police confirmed that no action would be taken over the M275 drama.
