Family flee house blaze
A FAMILY evacuated their Southampton home in the early hours of this morning after smoke from a car fire began filling the house.
Two adults and two children were advised to leave their home in Dean Road, Bitterne, as a precaution when they called Hampshire Fire to report the vehicle fire.
Crews from Hightown arrived just before 1am to tackle the small blaze which they were able to get under control quickly.
No one was injured and no damaged was caused to the home.
