AMATEUR artists from Hampshire have scooped a range of prizes at an open exhibition showcasing the best paintings, prints and drawings in the region.
Of the 241 pictures entered this year, 79 will be on display at the St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery in Lymington from today until July 19.
For her etching Winter Hedgerow, Victoria Garland received £250 for the Clarke Willmott Award.
The Mackenzie and Mackenzie Award of £200 went to Linda Penny for her pastel Flow 2, and the Mary Symons Memorial Award of £250 for best print was given to Kate Watkins for the screenprint Brighton Pier.
Andreozanne Mendham won the Beaulieu Fine Art Prize of £50 worth of picture framing for Alderney Rock Pool, while the £300 Coastal Gallery Award went to Cathy Beggs.
