ALL the corners of the globe were represented as a Hampshire village celebrated its annual community showpiece.
West End’s High Street was packed with thousands of people as they watched the main carnival parade make its way through the village.
This year’s theme was countries of the world and countries and regions as diverse as China, Hawaii, the Caribbean and the USA were all
represented by schools, community groups, scouts and brownies.
The parade was the centrepiece of West End Carnival Week and was followed by the fete, which featured a host of activities and events, including a flashmob.
Other events taking place throughout carnival week included the carnival quiz, carnival walks and best cup cake and allotment competitions.
