Police have today named the man who died in a street in Southampton.

Officers launched a murder investigation following the death of John William Willdig.

Hampshire police closed off two roads for most of yesterday while they investigated the death of the 70-year-old, of Nelson Road, Southampton.

It followed an incident in Morris Road at around 10:15pm on Monday.

Two men, aged 43 and 53, arrested in connection with the death were last night released bailed.

A 35-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman, also arrested in connection with the death, remain in police custody.

Daily Echo:

A police spokesman said officers are focussing their investigation on establishing the relationship between all those arrested and the deceased, and are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident at this time.

Anyone with information which could assist this investigation should call 101 and ask for the Hampshire Major Investigation Team in Southampton, quoting Operation Fabia.

Alternatively, information can be left anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

I think you`ll find they were being sarcastic.

And let`s not forget, the person who wrote this article is paid to do so. You would in that case, expect them to at least read through what they have written (ie proof reading) before posting it.

I`d be interested if the surgeon who was working on you made that comment, what your reaction would then be, lol.

If you`re paid to do something, it is reasonable to expect that it should be done without mistakes.

So no, we dont all make mistakes, some of us concentrate on what we are doing enough so we dont :)
