A HAMPSHIRE grandmother is “on top of the world” after hearing she has scooped £2,450 in last week’s Daily Echo Find the Ball competition.
Julia Thoresen from Botley said she had only ever won a £15 prize before so was delighted to win the nearest miss prize.
She said: “I feel on top of the world, it is absolutely fantastic.”
Mrs Thoresen, who has been married to husband Roger for 53 years, said she would now be able to spend a little extra cash on an upcoming cruise they are taking with their grandson.
