STAFF at a Hampshire accountancy firm are celebrating its centenary by volunteering for community and charity work.

Ten partners at Princecroft Willis, in New Milton, have helped out at good causes ranging from hospices to sports clubs.

And most recently VAT specialist Simon Anslow has worked in a YMCA kitchen in Bournemouth.

He said: “It’s been an eye-opener to see just how much work goes into running a restaurant. You have to have skills other than catering ones, such as counselling and being a friend.

“From the other side you don’t always appreciate it – everyone should have a go and see for themselves.”

The independent firm also has an office in Poole and employs more than 100 people.
