CARE patients in Hampshire are being helped with a visit from a four-legged friend.

Local home care provider Caremark has added an extra member to its staff with the introduction of a long-haired dachshund called Mr Pickles.

The dog is owned by Anne May, one of Caremark's most experienced carers, and regularly visits some of her clients.

One of his favourite visits is to a client who had a stroke eight years ago which stopped her walking and caring for her dog.

According to Anne, the client thoroughly enjoys their visits as it reminds her of playing with her own dogs.
