Help set up new group for retired men
VOLUNTEERS in Southampton will lay the foundations for a new men’s community group.
A meeting takes place from 8pm on Friday, July 11, to discuss setting up the city’s first Men’s Shed.
The national initiative allows retired men to adopt woodwork, electronics and other crafts under the UK Men’s Sheds Association.
The meeting runs from 8pm in Freemantle and Shirley Community Centre in Randolph Street, Shirley.
