A SOUTHAMPTON baseball club is celebrating after getting a donation.

The Southampton Mustangs Baseball Club received a £300 donation from the Mars Milk Play Fund.

The club plays in the highest league in the country the National Baseball League (NBL) and are looking to get more young people into the sport.

Their marketing coordinator Ross Arieta said: says: “This donation from the MARS Milk Play Fund couldn’t have come at a better time. Baseball kit can be very expensive and with this money we can now buy additional kit for the team to help make baseball more inclusive.”
