AGE UK Winchester is set to benefit from possibly the last opening of a private garden in Romsey.
The owners of Lake House are about to move and will hold their final open day on Sunday in aid of the charity.
The well-known garden has extensive planting, a lake and beautiful views into the open countryside, a short stroll from the town centre.
The day is a key fundraiser for Age UK Winchester which now supports around 800 people each year.
Its work includes lunch clubs, help at home, information, advice and befriending, all aimed at helping older people retain their independence.
The garden, in Mill Lane, is open from 11am until 4pm on July 6. Admission is £3.50 and children are free. There is ample free parking directly opposite and well-behaved dogs, on leads, are welcome too. The postcode is SO51 8EQ.
