A BLAZE swept through a large outhouse late at night.

Crews of 30 firegfighters tackled the inferno at the property on the outskirts of a Hampshire village.

The blaze broke out in May Bush Lane, Soberton, at 11.30pm on Friday after a neighbouring bonfire spread to the building.

Crews from Fareham, Wickham, Bishop’s Waltham, Havant and Cosham stations used two hose reels, two jets and 12 breathing apparatus to put out the flames.

They spent nearly two hours clearing the 80mx40m building.

Police are not treating it as suspicious.
